The building is an old country store, white clapboard on a rural crossroads, and the back shelves still look the part, stocked now with natural wines, tinned fish, and housemade ferments. Up front, an ambitious farm-to-table restaurant turns out a local menu with sophisticated touches and zero attitude. The New York Times put it on their Restaurant List in 2024, and a James Beard semifinalist nod followed. Brunch is a fine excuse for the Midcoast drive.
