Sir Edwin Lutyens designed the building, and the renovation was careful enough that he'd probably still recognize it. This is a hotel that earns its postcode: the British Museum is one street over, and the whole literary weight of Bloomsbury presses agreeably against the windows. Rooms keep their Georgian bones while adding Nespresso machines and proper bathrooms. Dalloway Terrace handles upscale British fare, and afternoon tea is the obvious move before another lap of the museum.
