    Perched in Chattanooga's Bluff View Art District, the Edwin Hotel is a contemporary property where the art collection spills from the lobby straight into the loft-style rooms, so even unpacking feels vaguely cultured. Whitebird handles dinner with some seriousness, and the Whiskey Thief rooftop bar handles everything else. Chattanooga draws the outdoor crowd, but the Edwin doubles as a social destination for people who also want a good drink after the hike.
