Wild game is the whole point here, a contemporary American restaurant where the menu rotates around whatever's in season, grilled Texas antelope one week, duck confit gnocchi the next. Three friends run the place, and the room feels accordingly unpretentious, dark leather banquettes alongside open tables. Vegetable dishes pull their weight rather than apologizing for themselves, and the guava hand pie with goat cheese ice cream is a proper closer.
