A large pewter-topped bar dominates the room at Rick Stein's seafood restaurant on the Padstow waterfront, and the oyster menu alone could keep you busy. The cooking moves between pared-back simplicity, market fish treated with almost aggressive restraint, and dishes pulled from Stein's travels, a Singaporean chilli crab here, an Indonesian curry there. An old-school institution that still draws the crowds Cornwall throws at it.
