The Small Holding
Modern British
A former village pub in rural Kent, now a Modern British restaurant where two brothers grow much of what lands on the plate using no-dig, low-intervention methods. The monthly tasting menu leans Nordic as much as British, shaped entirely by what the kitchen's own land is producing. In summer, the terrace looks out over the garden you're about to eat, which makes the whole farm-to-table pitch feel less like a claim and more like a view.
