    Hand-dyed batik fabrics on the beds and a rotating Indonesian art collection signal that this luxury hotel, a Forbes Four Star property in the Kuningan business district, is doing something more considered than the standard five-star playbook. The design team behind La Mamounia and The Peninsula Paris shaped the interiors, and the six dining and drinking venues lean into local flavors. Surrounded by taller towers, it competes on detail rather than height.
