The Swan is the Adnams brewery's foray into hotels, which means the Tap Room bar is both inevitable and excellent. It occupies a Georgian pile on the market square in Southwold, renovated inside with antique furniture painted in colors no antique dealer would recognize. The Still Room serves modern British cooking on the quieter side. The Michelin Guide has given it one Key.
