The spa wing, designed by Mario Botta, looks from the outside like a fleet of sailboats somehow beached in the Alps. This Michelin two-key mountain resort in Arosa runs year-round now, drawing skiers in winter and hikers in summer to its 2,000-meter perch in Graubünden. Interiors are clean-lined and warm, with ceiling-height headboards and big windows that make the most of the elevation. The on-site restaurant holds two Michelin stars, should the mountain air sharpen your appetite considerably.
