    The terrace looks straight out over Fistral Beach, which makes ordering feel slightly beside the point, though Adam Handling's Michelin-starred modern British kitchen will quickly refocus your attention. You choose between a tasting menu and an à la carte that runs to three or four courses, the cooking clean and precise rather than showy. Surfers in the middle distance, cocktail in hand before you sit down: Cornwall has done worse settings.
