Villa 32

Five rooms, five private geothermal baths, and a former wine cellar that still earns its keep. Villa 32 is a small modernist retreat in Beitou where hot-spring access comes built into the room, not offered as an add-on. Suites run from tatami-and-sliding-screen Japanese style to plush Western rooms, and the courtyard dining quietly suggests that whoever lived here before had very good taste. No guests under 16, which tells you most of what you need to know about the mood.
