    A family-run fine dining room in the village center of Ligist, where the third generation is cooking creative, French-inflected tasting menus under a Michelin star. The five- or seven-course surprise format leans on unexpected contrasts, and the wine pairings are chosen with real care. Julia Mausser runs the floor with the kind of warmth that makes a multi-course meal feel less like an occasion and more like a long dinner with people who know what they're doing.
