Yusokuryori Mankamero
Japanese
Mankamero carries on yusoku ryori, the banquet cuisine once served at imperial court functions, and pairs it with shikibocho, a ceremonial knife-handling art where cookery and etiquette are inseparable. The kaiseki changes with the seasons, right down to the leaves tucked beneath each dish. It holds two Michelin stars and has been around forever, the kind of place that preserves tradition by quietly, continuously reinventing it.
