    Rafael Nadal co-founded this resort on his home island, so the outdoor adventure list carries a certain credibility. The open layout borrows from the Mediterranean courtyard house: a central patio doubles as lobby, café, and lounge, with pale wood, linen, and wicker throughout. Rooms are built around ocean views, and the palm-fringed pool runs straight into Beso Beach, the hotel's bar and restaurant. Earthy, breezy, and quietly sporty.
