Eight seats at a counter, a binchotan grill smoking quietly in front of you, and skewers of Danish chicken coming off it in quick succession. Aotori is a yakitori bar from the team behind Kappo Andō, and it keeps things focused: local chicken cuts and vegetables, plus offal when the kitchen has it. The sake list by the glass runs deep, and a back room called Akaton handles tonkatsu for anyone who showed up in a pork mood.
