Artisan
French
A French restaurant on the second floor in Fukushima where the chef came up through carpentry before kitchens, and the cooking carries both trades. He trained in Paris, wears a straw hat on his back like a certain manga pirate, and serves a duck en croûte he named "New Age" that's shaped like a ship's prow. The humor lands because the technique behind it is serious. A quiet room with a personality that sneaks up on you.
