    A timber-slat façade cuts an odd, striking figure in Ljubljana's old center, and the inside follows through with striped chaises, vintage pieces, and a sharp edit of Slovenian contemporary art. The boutique hotel holds just 28 rooms, and the rooftop Jacuzzi looks straight at the castle. Downstairs, Jaz by Ana Roš adds real culinary weight. The Michelin Guide awarded it a Key.
