Cash only, no phone until recently, fourth generation in the kitchen: Aux Bons Enfants has been doing things its own way for a very long time. This snug Provençal bistro on rue Meynadier sources everything from Forville Market a few doors down, which keeps the stuffed vegetables, braised beef cheeks, and homemade gnocchi tasting like someone's grandmother made them, which is more or less accurate. The Michelin Guide awards it a Bib Gourmand.
