    Positioned on the Suzhou River with views across to the Bund and the Lujiazui skyline, this hotel sits in Hongkou, one of the few Shanghai neighborhoods where art deco facades still stand and elderly residents haul groceries home from the wet market. Inside, the mood shifts to grand: over a thousand artworks sourced globally fill the interiors. A Forbes Four Star property, it's the first Bellagio outside the United States, with 162 rooms, dining, and a full spa.
