A painted sign discovered on the back wall during renovations gave this Leith bar its name, and it still hangs in the conservatory as a kind of accidental founding document. The old whisky bonded warehouse keeps its bones on show: exposed brick, thick wooden beams, low ceilings, and leather seating that makes a cavernous space feel genuinely snug. The kind of place you end up staying longer than planned.
