    A 48-story tower cantilevered above a lovingly restored 1916 Chamber of Commerce building, all red brick and imposing columns, isn't a subtle move, but Bvlgari pulls it off. The hotel holds a Forbes Five Star and two Michelin Keys, and the rooms occupy the skyscraper's upper floors with views split between the Bund and the Pudong skyline. Bronze accents, travertine, and dark woods run throughout, and the subterranean spa is a serious operation.
