    A dining room lined with books, paintings, and wine bottles so dense it reads more like a private library than a restaurant. This old-school Veronese spot has been in the same family forever, and it shows: you pass through the bar first, then settle in for a menu of charcuterie, strong French cheese, and serious meat and fish dishes, backed by a cellar running to around two thousand labels.
