A double-fronted Georgian building painted pale green in a Wicklow seaside town, Caladh is a brasserie where the kitchen leans on good produce and leaves it mostly alone. Confit duck leg and grilled pork chop are the register: classic, ingredient-led, no flourishes demanding your attention. The room is calm and unhurried, the wine list is sensibly priced, and the whole thing feels like a neighbourhood restaurant a neighbourhood genuinely wanted.
