Capella Ubud

Each of the 23 tents at this luxury tented lodge in Ubud's jungle ravine is dressed to a different theme, from baking utensils to film-set props, courtesy of designer Bill Bensley, who clearly considers restraint someone else's problem. It holds a Forbes Four Star rating. The above-ground rainforest pool cuts through the canopy, each tent has its own plunge pool, and the whole thing reads less like a resort than an elaborate, extremely comfortable fever dream.
