Cervus
Mediterranean Spanish
Two chefs, one Catalan and one Andalusian, building a menu around what their two home regions share rather than where they differ. It's a contemporary tasting-menu restaurant in Reus, with a shorter and a longer menu to choose from. The cooking pulls from traditional recipes on both sides, then nudges them toward the Mediterranean with the odd French or Japanese lean. The Iberian pork served across two courses is the kind of thing people mention unprompted on the way home.
