    The Master Suite has its own private pool, which tells you something about how Cinco Quintas calibrates ambition. This boutique hotel inside Cartagena's walled city is organized around a quiet central courtyard, the classic compound layout of the old neighborhood, with colonial architecture dressed up in clean modern interiors. Even the smallest rooms run nearly 300 square feet with king beds and high ceilings. The rooftop bar has sweeping views of the historic center.
