Colonia del Sacramento is a town that has looked more or less the same for centuries, so a sleek, apartment-style boutique hotel with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the Río de la Plata is a mild shock to the system. Every room, even the smallest, comes with a kitchenette and a balcony. The crowd that crosses from Buenos Aires by ferry tends to stay longer than planned, which is probably the point.
