Cristine Bedfor Mahón

The fictional British traveler whose name this Mahón boutique hotel borrows doesn't exist, which is precisely the point. Hotelier Cristina Lozano invented her as a frame for the whole place, a Menorcan's affectionate send-up of refined foreign sensibilities. Designer Lorenzo Castillo filled the rooms with antiques and objects that suggest decades of accumulated taste. The restaurant leans on local produce and Mediterranean seafood, and Michelin has awarded the hotel one Key.
