In the heart of Innsbruck's pedestrian zone, Das Schindler splits the difference between a proper restaurant and a cocktail bar, which turns out to be a comfortable place to be. The seasonal menu runs to three or four courses at dinner, with a shorter, easier version at lunch. The room has that urban brasserie energy where nobody feels overdressed or underdressed, which in a tourist-heavy old town is its own small achievement.
