Wrought-iron tables spill onto one of Portofino's tiny squares, with the castle-crowned promontory framing the view like someone staged it. This contemporary Italian restaurant is run by the Cerea family, who also oversee the three-Michelin-starred Da Vittorio in Bergamo, so the kitchen takes the food seriously even when the scenery is doing most of the heavy lifting. Book ahead; the tables are few and the square is famous.
