A one-Michelin-star creative restaurant in Lucerne's Old Town, steps from the River Reuss, with an open kitchen and a bistro feel that doesn't take itself too seriously. The cooking leans bold and acidic, pairing ingredients that have no obvious business being together until they suddenly do. A set menu runs five or seven courses, opening with tapas that nod to the chef's background. The team describes it as "unusual but down-to-earth, with a pinch of punk," which is doing a lot of work and also accurate.
