Two brothers run this Michelin-starred fine dining room in the middle of a small Baden-Württemberg town, one cooking and one pouring, which is either a family business or a hostage situation, depending on the night. The set menu runs five to seven courses of ambitious modern German cooking, with a classic and a vegetarian path through it. The room skews minimalist and the wine list skews serious, which together set the tone pretty clearly.
