    Sancerre's goat cheese and its wines were made for each other, and the Bourgeois family seems to have organized their entire estate around proving it. The winery sits at the foot of the Monts Damnés vineyard in the medieval village of Chavignol, and between the cellar visits, the twelve-room hotel, and a Michelin-starred restaurant on site, a weekend here has a way of becoming two.
