    Oyster hour starts the evening early at this relaxed American bistro in downtown Chattanooga, and regulars who know the drill show up accordingly. The menu moves with the seasons through small plates, pasta, and mains, all leaning comfortable rather than ambitious. Erik and Amanda Niel have kept the place going long enough to feel like a neighborhood institution without ever getting smug about it. The Michelin Guide has taken notice.
