Huge windows face the street, and the light inside has clearly been given as much thought as the menu. This is a Michelin-starred neighbourhood restaurant in Chelsea, which is to say the room is elegant without trying to prove it, and the cooking follows the same logic: Mediterranean influences, pared-back flavours, nothing showing off. Philip Howard is behind it, if the name means anything to you. A casually dressed lunch works as well as a proper dinner.
