    A former convent with frescoes and vaulted ceilings still intact, the Four Seasons Milano sits on Via Gesù, tucked behind the Golden Quad where every major fashion house has a flagship. The hotel runs a full-service spa, a restaurant, and a garden bar, so you could technically avoid the city's relentless chic entirely, though you'd have to try hard given the clientele checking in with very specific luggage requirements.
