    A converted gasworks turned hotel in Hamburg's creative-industrial fringe, with exposed brick, floor-to-ceiling windows, and the kind of airy proportions that make you wonder why anyone builds from scratch. The pun in the name barely survives translation, but the rooms do: muted tones, high-design furniture, and enough light to make the whole thing feel less like a reclaimed factory and more like a very comfortable one.
