    Three friends who cooked together at De Librije traded their old kitchen for a wood-panelled room in central Maastricht, and the result is a cosy, French-leaning restaurant where a single set menu does all the deciding for you. The cooking keeps things clean without being austere, finding its personality in contrast and the occasional sharp left turn rather than anything excessive.
