Pastel pink walls and exposed brick share a room downtown, which is a combination that shouldn't work and somehow does. HeeMee is a Korean-inflected coffee shop and bakery where the pastries lean French and Japanese but never too sweet, and the menu swings from cakes to fried chicken rice bowls without apology. The Einspanner, local cold brew under sweet cream, is the drink to order. Tucson's downtown crowd has figured this out.
