    A small luxury hotel on one of Florence's prettiest squares, steps from the Duomo and the designer-boutique circuit. The rooms lean heavily into old-school grandeur, dark wood and heavy drapes, the kind of place where a Nobel laureate or two have reportedly slept without complaint. The staff is discreet in that old European way, meaning they solve problems before you notice them. A quiet, well-positioned base for people who'd rather not explain where they're staying.
