    The former auction hall of a 1920s pawnshop turns out to be an excellent room for a Michelin-starred dinner, all hardwood floors, designer chairs, and artwork that leans more New York gallery than Viennese tradition. Sören Herzig's creative tasting menu runs in full or shorter formats and can go vegetarian on request. The rooftop terrace is the move for an aperitif before you sit down, assuming Vienna cooperates with the weather.
