The marble baths sit right in the middle of the room, not tucked away, which tells you everything about what kind of hotel this is. A luxury boutique in the thick of Myeongdong, it was founded by a Korean film actor and leans into the conceit fully: monochromatic suites, retro lamps, framed black-and-white movie stills, and a library with a projector. Cinephile cosplay, maybe, but the bones are genuinely beautiful.
