    Forty-five rooms on the Quai du Mont-Blanc, with the Jet d'Eau framed in the window like someone planned it that way. This old-school luxury hotel reads more like a private club, all dark-walled corridors and ornate furnishings that somehow stop short of stuffy. A cigar lounge, a cocktail lounge, a fine-dining restaurant with the lake spread out below it, and a staff-to-guest ratio that means someone is always nearby. Forbes Four Star.
