    Built from scratch on the South Congress lot where Willie Nelson once ran the Austin Opry House, Hotel Magdalena is the newest piece of Bunkhouse Group's quietly growing neighborhood takeover. The design leans into a gentle 1970s warmth without tipping into theme-park nostalgia. It's the kind of hotel that earns its street by knowing exactly where it is, which, on this particular stretch of Austin, counts for a lot.
