    Osaka Castle sits directly across the river, close enough that rooms on the upper floors frame it like a painting you didn't commission. This 18-story city hotel in the Chuo district keeps a rooftop garden, outdoor tennis courts, and a seasonal pool on hand for when you'd rather not think about transit. Osakajokoen Station is a three-minute walk when you do. A full run of in-house restaurants means you can ignore the city entirely, which would be a shame.
