The Georgian townhouse at the top of Greek Street has been a lot of things over the centuries, and its current life as a private members' bar might be its most unexpected. The interior has been polished back to its original grandeur, all ornate plasterwork and period detail, while the staff include people learning a trade through the club's social mission. Drinking here comes with a cause attached, which is either reassuring or a lot to hold with a cocktail.
