Lake Annecy fills the windows of this two-Michelin-starred fine dining room, which is probably the most beautiful distraction you could have between courses. Jean Sulpice runs a single set menu built around lake fish, wild herbs, and foraged flowers, all arriving on hand-thrown ceramic ware. The cooking is light in the way that makes you wonder why anyone cooks heavily, and the setting, terrace water lapping just outside, does the rest of the persuading.
