Kelvin Cheung's restaurant sits on the Boulevard with the Burj Khalifa filling the window, which seems almost unfair given how much is already happening on the plate. The cooking blends Chinese-Canadian, South Asian, and American threads into something that reads as its own thing: prawn toast with Singapore coconut curry, karaage and waffles, za'atar tempura. Teal marble, dark wood, bronze accents. A spot on MENA's 50 Best list.
