    A private island resort in the Venetian lagoon, which sounds made up but isn't. You take a boat from the city and arrive somewhere genuinely quiet, with a rooftop pool, a full spa, and a serious restaurant on-site. The rooms spread across several villas and buildings, some buried in an old olive grove, some right on the water. The guests tend to be honeymooners and people celebrating something, all very pleased with themselves, and honestly fair enough.
