A Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant in Osaka where the chef grew up behind the wok of a family place, and it shows in every way that counts. Kinki-region ingredients move between Chinese and Japanese technique, landing on a mix of both countries' ceramics. The vegetarian menu named for an old Kawachi vegetable-farming plain is a quiet flex. The whole thing reads less like fusion and more like someone cooking exactly where they're from.
